“Just wanted to take a moment to talk about my experience having Mike coach me over the past year or so. I’ve always been on the skinnier side; always wanting to gain a little weight, gain some muscle, but never really had the right idea how to do it or what exactly I needed to do with my workouts. One day Mike reached out to me and said ‘I can help you out with that and come up with a workout plan, a new diet, and help you reach your goals.’ I agreed, and it’s been a wonderful experience this past year. “I first met Mike Mahoney in high school, long before his physical transformation. In 2019, he and I reconnected, and he invited me to train together. We worked out and, based on his recent successes, I asked him for some advice on what I could do to see better results from training. He went above and beyond, creating a whole training schedule, dietary and supplement regimen. We even discussed habits, my weekly schedule, and short & long term goals to factor in what exercises on what days I would benefit the most from. I had never committed to a whole program in the several years I had been weight lifting, so I was skeptical. The results were extremely impressive, and Mike’s support throughout my journey was phenomenal. He checked in routinely on my progress, offering advice and support where he could. My overall goal for the program was to reach a flat bench press of 225lbs by the twelfth week of the program. When Mike and I again met on the tenth week of the program, I was able to complete multiple reps of my goal. I have continued to use the lessons and programs that Mike was kind enough to provide in my training, and have gone to set personal records for myself in several different exercises.
